I’m Blair Winters. I teach middle school Art and Technology at L’Anse Creuse Middle East in Chesterfield, Michigan. I have a B.A. in Psychology and a B.F.A. in Art Education from Michigan State University. In 2013 I received my Masters of Art in Educational Technology (MAET) through Michigan State’s study abroad cohort at Dublin City University and NUIG in Ireland across two summers. Growing up, I had always I wanted to work with children. When I graduated with my B.A. in Psychology I had planned on going to graduate school to study School Psychology. However, I realized that I didn’t have the same passion for psychology that I did for art, which has always been a hobby for me. So, I went back to MSU to study Art Education and it was the best decision I have ever made. I strive to creatively and thoughtfully integrate and technology in my classroom. I love my job, my school and my students! I feel like teaching art is my niche and my passion for art and technology inspires my students and benefits their learning.
